A family history!

The DUVEAU family has been in the wine business since the French Revolution. But it was really only from the 1880s that the DUVEAU Domain started to grow thanks to the vision and energy of one woman, Jeanne Helene Pasquier (1839-1893).

Her great grand son, Denis Duveau (1915-1992) went on to run the vineyard, until the outbreak of World War II. Denis left for the front, and the vineyard was looked after by the women of the family. It was not until 1950 that the Domaine des Roches Neuves really developed. The next descendant, also called Denis (b. 1948) graduated from the School of Oenology in Bordeaux in 1981, and went back to work at the family domain.
